Albino Model

Diandra Forrest is an African-American albino and model.  She's 5'11" with blonde hair and hazel eyes and is considered stunningly beautiful.    What do you think?

Stunningly beautiful for a zombie, maybe

I think she is interesting but only because of the albinism, but stunningly beautiful? Oh hell no. Not in my opinion, but awesome that she's making a good living off her unique looks.

Brainzzzzzzz
And for all the haters who can't read and who completely missed the point of this post, this is my idea of beautiful:

I got this from a Pinterest page called Natural Hairstyles - Teeny Weeny Afro (TWA). So again, in review, our post subject is interesting, but in my opinion, not beautiful. It has nothing to do with racism but if that's your only frame of reference I don't judge you. It's just not mine.

I think she looks better in the black and white photo.

Ann, I totally agree. When I googled her there were a few really nice black and whites photos and she looked the best in those.

There's something about this girl that frightens me.

I couldn't agree more. She's interesting-ish, but I wouldn't consider her a model. Of course, I wouldn't hire Ally Lohan either, so what do I know?

I think these reactions are horrifying. She is beautiful. She does not look like I do, but that does not in any way make her not beautiful. If you are judging a person's beauty based on the color of their skin, shame on you.

Nothing horrifying about people stating an opinion especially if it's about something as ridiculous as beauty. Beauty is subjective and in my opinion she IS beautiful. For a zombie. If you think that has anything to do with the colour of her skin in that she is actually black you missed the point of this post and have resorted to a baseless argument to object to my personal opinion.

We're allowed to say she's not beautiful if we don't think she's beautiful. We are allowed to say it without someone suggesting it's racism. Kind of a lame fall back, actually. I'm going to say that if you think she's beautiful that's awesome. I'm also going to say you must not be too bright. But that's my opinion.

Sadly, it looks like she's considered "stunningly beautiful" based on the fact that she was born with "white" features. So who is really being judgmental about skin color, I ask? Yeah.

Well said, Meissa.

you guys might have things a little twisted. I see an attractive but average black woman [who appears unusual because she's albino] with great makeup & bone structure, wearing haute couture. Contrary to what Meissa's saying she doesn't have 'white' features at all -- in fact they're very negroid, but her skin is very pale. At the end of the day, we can discuss & observe all we want... she's doing what she wants & probably making tons of moolah - hope she has a good adviser tho/ pale skin doesn't age well...

I totally agree with Gigi. She absolutely looks like a black women but with pale features. Even if her skin was darker she would still be a stunning beautiful women but her uniqueness has only given her an edge in the fashion industry. I think she'd be a model even if she had a darker complexion because she possesses cat walk features regardless of her colouring tones

I think she would be stunning with conventional colouring. In my opinion. It's the extreme paleness I can't get past. Maybe it's beause she should be darker toned and isn't and that makes me think of illness or zombies. I agree that she has distinctly African American features and the only white thing about her IS the skin colour and that's the feature that is causing me to see her as ill rather than beautiful.

I THINK IT'S DISGUSTING THAT YOU CALL HER A ZOMBIE.

BEAUTY IS TOTALLY SUBJECTIVE AND CULTURAL SO IT MATTERS NOT OUR PERSONAL OPINIONS IN THAT RESPECT (AS IF YOU MAKE THE BLOODY RULES!)THE FACT THAT YOU DO NOT FIND HER ATTRACTIVE IS NEITHER HERE OR THERE, YOUR OPINION ON WOMEN LOOKS,ALBINO'S OR ANYTHING ELSE DOES NOT MAKE IT TRUE, SO WHAT'S YOUR POINT??

YOU DISPARAGE ALBINO'S FOR YOUR PERSONAL TITILLATION.WHY DON'T YOU JUST PUT BLACK OR WHITE OR ASIAN FOR COMPARISON? OH YEH THAT WOULD BE OVERTLY RACIST, TELL ME HOW THE PRINCIPLE IS ANY DIFFERENT HERE.

IT ALSO OBJECTIFIES HER AS A WOMAN; SHE'S A MODEL SO WHAT, DOES'NT MEAN YOU HAVE TO OBJECTIFY HER TOO, AND BASED SOLELY ON HER SKIN COLOUR!.

WHY DON'T POST A PICTURE OF YOURSELF AND ASK THE SAME QUESTION, THEN I WILL COME AND SAY IT'S THE CONTENT OF YOUR CHARACTER THAT DEFINES TRUE BEAUTY. I DON'T HAVE TO SEE YOUR PIC TO KNOW HOW UGLY YOU ARE YOUR BLOG COMMUNICATES THAT VERY WELL.

THE WHOLE IDEA OF THIS BLOG IS OBJECTIONABLE ON MANY LEVELS, AND YOU ARE A DESPICABLE HUMAN BEING, SHAME ON YOU!...

It's always the ugly people so fixated on commenting on other people's beauty. She--like most models, has a very interesting look. Most high fashion models are awkwardly beautiful In my opinion she fits the mold.
