Head's Up

I'm currently looking at third party blogger templates to update the look here. I've narrowed it down to a couple and I'm just checking out how easy they are to navigate. I'll lose my widgets in the transition so if you drop by and see some things missing, don't worry, they'll be back.

All feedback is welcome. Is it easy on the eyes, easy to read and easy to navigate?

I like it. It doesn't seem like "you" but I like it a lot. The chartreuse was so "Frimmy."

I just chose that design from the blogger offerings and only cared that it was easy on the eyes. I didn't care about it beyond that. Lately I've had a lot more activity here and I thought it would be nice to make it more like 'my place'. As much as using someone else's design can be 'mine'.

My first choice was the messy desk template but I just can't have a unicorn. If I could have removed it or substituted it that's what we'd have right now. The Lad says it's a manly unicorn though so I may switch it in the future. It IS rather a manly unicorn...

I like it and it reads well on my little screen. Good choice. A unicorn would be awkward.

I was used to the old format. This is fine as well and the font reads well. I check your site from a laptop, maybe I should try from the phone? But this works for me as well.

ps. i like the vespa or whatever scooter you have at the top

I like to think it's a Vespa mainly because it's the only brand of moped I ever heard of. I went with this format to avoid the unicorn and ended up with hipster...It was the books I loved though. If I could just have a header with old books and maybe a globe I'd be happy with that. You know? Like a grand old antique study/library, the kind you find in a castle with the huge fireplace and comfy chairs to curl up in.

First thing I noticed is that the font is really big. But overall, the easy on the eyes and distinctive.

I thought it seemed like the font was huge. I read the blog on the edit interface mostly so I wasn't sure. I fixed it. Now my eyes don't have to stretch so far. If someone needs bigger font they can always 'alt +' it and I'm sure they know that already.
